Hi everyone, Welcome to my Southern Dreams
I have been busy the last few years writing and now it’s time to share my stories and tales. I have added some of my stories that are in the final editing and I do hope to publish them in the near future. You’ll find regular updates on my latest books, reviews, special offers and promotions, and events. You may also follow me on Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google + and Goodreads at top right hand corner or connect with Diann online.
I would like to introduce myself. My name is Diann Shaddox, if you haven’t noticed, Diann, two n’s and no e, is spelled different.
What is it that you might want to know about me? First, I write love stories & children’s books and I’m the author of A FADED COTTAGE a SC love story about a man with Essential Tremor , a Mom's Choice Honoree and WHISPERING FOG a time travel romance.
I'm the Founder of Diann Shaddox Foundation a Non-Profit 501c(3) organization committed to help people struggling in today’s world with neurological conditions such as Essential Tremor. DSF is dedicated to inspire, educate, enlighten, and increase awareness to the world about people living every day with neurological conditions. Our funds will be used for awareness, promotional, advertising and research to help find the cause and a cure for ET.
I’m a member of the Wyandotte Nation, & I have Essential Tremors. Please follow me on twitter @yahtasay. I have lived in many states across the United States and I have met many amazing people and hope my journey will continue for many years of writing.
Second, I grew up in southwest Arkansas, in a rural town, where Main Street has diagonal parking, old brick buildings containing a bank, old fashion pharmacy, and even a Dime Store.
The small town of Nashville is surrounded by farms and rolling countryside and is a modest, but quaint southern town where football still reigns supreme. A town that brought my imagination to life, hot summer evenings catching fireflies, riding bikes all over the small town and swimming in creeks and lakes.
I’m still a true southern girl, but my imagination in my books spreads over the world, with fantasy books that begin in Maine, the city of Boston, San Francisco, and even go to the remote Greek islands.
I’m a Native American and I also have a collection of Native American children’s tales that I’m working on for future books.
I love meeting new people; we all have our own stories to tell in our books of life and I look forward to hearing from you.
Yahtasay, hello, welcome and join me on my adventure. I'm the author of "A Faded Cottage" & "Whispering Fog" and Founder of Diann Shaddox Foundation. I'm a member of the Wyandotte Nation & I have Essential Tremor (ET). I love to cook, which leads to eating and I love wines. Chardonnay is my favorite unless I'm eating steak then I'll take a glass of cabernet.
